The company is run by two directors from distinctly different business backgrounds, one with a 9 years experience in transport, logistics and the general motor trade industry, and the other one with a successful career in the insurance business working for a large local building society. The company was created over several cups of strong coffee and the general business plan was formulated and from that it evolved.
Providing wheels based insurance solutions and experienced staff in motor trade insurance, the thought was not to become a call center with its press option one and then two, but to provide a one to one service where the customer had a direct account handler.
This dynamic pair of entrepreneurs combined their talents and expertise to build the Evans and Lewis Insurance in to what we know it as today.
